This treatment is designed to softly drain the many lymph nodes around the breast, encourage circulation in the breast tissue with gentle massage, and relieve swelling or pulling from scars. It allows assessment of breast tissue changes, and reduces menses related edema and pain, post-surgical scar tissue and helps other musculoskeletal conditions compounded by chest wall and breast tissue congestion.
Typical conditions treated include breast pain, benign fibrocystic breast tissue, non-bacterial mastitis for lactating mothers, treated and non-resolving musculoskeletal conditions of the neck, shoulders, and upper extremities. Often carpal tunnel syndrome has a breast/chest wall component.
